FX Pocket Lite — Privacy Policy

Short version: FX Pocket Lite does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything you see in the app stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party services receiving your data.

1. Who we are

FX Pocket Lite is published by FX Airguns. Privacy questions can be sent to info@fxairguns.com.

2. What the app does

FX Pocket Lite is a companion app for FX Pocket Chronograph devices (Pocket V2, Pocket D1, and Pocket Pro). It receives shot velocity data from a paired chronograph over Bluetooth Low Energy and displays statistics about your shooting sessions.

3. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app stores the following data only on your device:

Shot data received from your chronograph (velocity, shot counter, timestamp).
Session history — groups of shots you've recorded, their statistics, and the bullet weight you entered.
App preferences such as your unit choice (fps / m·s⁻¹), energy unit (ft·lb / J), and the identifier of the last chronograph you connected to (so the app can auto-reconnect next time).

None of this data leaves your device. It is not uploaded to any server, and it is not shared with us or with any third party.

4. Bluetooth

The app needs Bluetooth permission to communicate with your FX Pocket Chronograph. Bluetooth is used only for that purpose. The app does not use Bluetooth to identify your physical location, and it does not scan for any device that is not an FX Pocket Chronograph.

5. Information we do not collect

No name, email address, or contact information.
No location, GPS, or motion data.
No camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or calendar access.
No advertising identifiers.
No analytics, telemetry, or crash reports sent to any server.
No accounts and no sign-in.

6. Third-party services

FX Pocket Lite does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or attribution services. The app contains open-source libraries (such as the BLE plugin used to talk to your chronograph), but none of these libraries transmit your data to a remote server.

7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Your data, your device

Because all of your data is stored locally, you control it directly. To delete it, delete saved sessions inside the app, or uninstall the app — uninstalling removes every byte of session history, preferences, and the saved chronograph identifier.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in a future version of the app we'll change the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at the same URL. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
